I was the founding Executive Director of ROAR NY, a community of hospitality leaders advocating for New York City's independent restaurant community and creating a path to a sustainable future. I led ROAR's robust legislative and policy-based initiatives including reforming wage structure, industry operating standards, and health and wellness for restaurant workers.
I’ve been a journalist for twenty years, covering the intersection of food, business, law and policy for publications such as The New York Times, New York Magazine, Eater and Food & Wine.
I also run Strong Writing, a full-service copywriting studio for restaurant, hospitality, and food & beverage businesses.
