Vanderbilt Avenue Stands with Ukraine Monday March 14th!

Restaurants are always on the front lines when tragedy strikes, and the war in Ukraine is no different. There are many #ChefsforUkraine events benefiting World Central Kitchen and Global Giving’s Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund in motion as we speak, so do follow this hashtag to check out all the listings. I'll also be posting more events as they come up here on the Strong Buzz as well so keep checking back for more listings as they go up.

For one night only on Monday March 14th, Chef Greg Baxtrom of Olmsted will gather with restaurant friends on Vanderbilt Avenue in Prospect Heights to raise money for The Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund by Global Giving.

You’ll start off at Olmsted with savory dishes from guests chefs and wine from the team at Vinepair. Next, you'll head across the street to Maison Yaki for some barbecue specials & cocktails from the head bartender of Attaboy, Haley Traub. Last up, you'll finish at Patti Ann's down the street and get a sneak peak of treats to come with additional pastries from Fox Breads Bakery and more.

Things you should know:

  • There are 3 time slots available for the evening (5:30, 6:30 & 7:30 P.M) and you can book them on Resy.

  • 💰 All proceeds will go to The Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund by Global Giving

  • ⏰ Event begins at Olmsted, followed by Maison Yaki, and ends at Patti Ann's

  • 🥘 Friends from Golden Diner, Kindred & Black Seed Bagel -- along with our teams from Olmsted, Maison Yaki and Patti Ann's will be serving up savory dishes.

  • 🥖 Bien Cuit & Fox Breads Bakery and Evi's are bringing the pastry.
